Hello fellow vj members,

As what i have posted a month ago that my hubby lost his job... i know it is embarrassing to ask and my questions are;

1. is it best to have a co sponsor since we are filing I-130 for my kids?He is getting uneployment of $300 /week which is not enough to meet the requirement.

2. Is umeployment benefit considered an income as well?

3.We are still waiting for our NOA2.. do i need to call USCIS about hubby's being unemployed or wait till he gets a new job?He is working on it since day1 he lost his job.

3.If we can't get a co sponsor,,what are other options we can do so my kid's papers won't be denied...hope you can help..thanks so much.

Income and affidavit of support (I-864) is requested only after the petition has been approved and sent to NVC.

Affidavit of support is NOT filed with the petition (I-130)
