Did I miss anything good? I won't be able to hang around until later.

Just the usual I suck everyone else is right shenanigans. Fell free to join in.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

Personal attacks and posts quoting same have been removed.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

Like any of us are here. People either love me or hate my guts. Obviously the latter is the norm here.

Ewok should think about creating invite only sub-forum. One which is not moderated. That way we can say and do whatever we want and not affect or insult other members.

Not many of us have a fixation with proving that our country is the best.

Either do I. That would be moronic, especially while living somewhere else. All my posts suggest is that people need to think outside the box and accept that others are doing things better than us and learn from them. Especially, when these other nations are allies and more than willing to share information and procedures. Obviously if someone attacked me on this I will results to stating why Australia is doing better. On how many occasions have you seen me come here, out of the blue, and state that Australia is the best? never.

The UK, Canada, New Zealand and Australia regularly interact and learn from one another. That is how they better themselves. That is why these nations decided to copy and implement Australia's highly successful points based immigration system. Whereas, the second you hint that the US is not the greatest at something, people choke up.
