Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

"Where's the outrage" ;)

Outrage only happens when you think someone's being wronged.

Constellation clearly believes, even if he won't outright say it, that minorities in Australia deserve to be attacked.

Just seems to me to be a lot of members for a Facebook group promoting an obviously racist agenda.

That's my opinion. Deal with it.

I would rather pull a six and throw out witty remarks, eventually leading up to full out insults.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

The fact is, Australians are attacking, in a brutal and heinous manner, an ethnic minority.

And they are celebrating it on Facebook.

Shameful!

Now lets insert the word minorities, a group who is actually (as a matter of fact) responsible for a good portion of crime here, you guys cry racism and murder. wha wha mods wha wha

0.003% of Aussies sign up to some facebook club, the entire country is racist.

Knowing Aussies, half of them probably signed up as a joke anyway.

Australians see clashes in the street between India/Lebanon factions

Australian cities have seen more angry clashes Indian university students and members of the local Lebanese community.

About 70 Indian students gathered in Sydney on Wednesday night, only to be confronted by local Lebanese youths.

In a third straight night of protests, some youths were found by the police to be carrying weapons.

Police managed to control the flare-up but the Indian protesters said they had been continually attacked by Lebanese youths while police had ignored their pleas for protection.

A man of Lebanese descent was charged with carrying an offensive weapon.

Someone could die tonight

As the anger of a crowd of 200 Indian men reached fever pitch in Harris Park, in Sydney's west, last night, a man approached police with a story of being kidnapped that seemed to validate text messages that had been upsetting the community for two days.

On Monday night, a text message claiming an Indian student had been kidnapped angered a mob already upset about an assault earlier that evening.

Last night, another text message claimed that the supposedly kidnapped man had been killed. It followed a serious assault on an Indian cleaner in Warwick Farm in the afternoon.

Tensions mounted between Lebanese and Indians in Harris Park as stories circulated that the man who had appeared had been taken by four men to Fairfield before he escaped.

The issue of race had been simmering all night but as police put the man - red-eyed and distraught - in a police car, he said he could not determine the ethnicity of his alleged attackers.

"They were wearing balaclavas," he said.

The crowd chanted slogans calling police racist, but when the man was taken to Parramatta police station to make a statement the tension eased and the crowd dropped to about 100.

Police could not confirm his story last night.

Late in the evening, a group broke away and clashed with a group of Lebanese men who then fled in a white car that hit at least one of the protesters in its path.

After the violence escalated, waves of Indian men raced up the street followed by police cars. Two men were arrested about 9pm as police tried to move the crowd on.

One of the men was charged with carrying a pole that could have been used as a weapon, police said.

Plans were made among the mob to travel to Granville to confront Lebanese youths, but they could not rally enough support. Later, members of the mob said they could not go home as they feared carloads of men were waiting to meet them beyond the police cordon.

"Someone could die tonight," one said.

The crowd dispersed about midnight, a police spokeswoman said.

Indian leaders met police in Parramatta yesterday afternoon to discuss the previous night's violence. Up to 200 men of Indian background had rallied in the main street of Harris Park after reports that a group of men of Middle Eastern appearance had assaulted an Indian man.

Police said the attacks were not racially motivated. Community leaders more or less agreed, but the mood was very different on the streets.

"Our people don't say nothing until water goes up over the top," Jindi Singh, a taxi driver from Harris Park, said. "Police won't do anything, but we've got to do something."

Leaders of the Indian community gathered at Billu's Indian Eatery and Sweet House on Monday night. They were there to discuss last month's fire bomb attack on Indian students a few blocks away.

The group did not want it to become a racial issue, but said the attacks had no other motivation. "I'm a bit worried, of course, because of last night," said Avtar Singh, who owns the restaurant and was part of the delegation.

"I want to stop this."

"Drive out the curry munching idiots, make Australia clean"

Is Australian curry made with kangaroo meat?

And is Australian paneer made with wombat milk?

Inquiring minds really want to know.

You'd have to milk a LOT of wombats to make even a little paneer.

Randomizer - where oh where did you get the 23% statistic on jersey? That to me is astounding.

Wasn't Australia knocked out of the T20 already too? Maybe that isn't helping the general mood. [And that, my friends, is the extent of my cricket knowledge].

Well I can see you are off to a great start with this thread - insults, baiting and racial comments abound. They have been removed. This thread is on its way to being locked too if you don't start behaving yourselves.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”
