On the last day of my Medical Examination at St. Luke Medical Extension Center (SLMEC), Manila, a personnel hand in me my vaccine form and said; you will have your 2nd dose of varicella 2 months from now (Which I already did in the Philippines) and have your TDAP vaccine in US (No Specific Date). In my POE, an Immigrant Officer gave back my x-ray result in CD form as it is written outside the CD "For submission by the Immigrant to the Local Health Department". Last friday, me and my hubby went to the Local Health Center in Waynesboro, Pa to submit my x-ray result and to have my TDAP vaccine, unfortunately they don't have knowledge about this x-ray result for submission and did not accept my x-ray result, so we went to the hospital for some inquiries. A personnel refer us to another Health Center at Chambersburg. My husband get a hold to one of the personnel in Chambersburg Health Center and the lady on the line said that I will have my HIV test, TB test and VDRL or RPR (I don't know what is VDRL or RPR) before I go to them and submit my x-ray result and have vaccine. I told my husband to tell the lady that I already have my HIV test done in the Philippines but she said I should have it here again. Huh?????????? Anybody here that have same experience or anybody here that have some knowledge about this matter? Pls help.... I don't wanna have that HIV test again, grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr so painful...

You entered on a CR-1 visa, you have green-card (I-551) stamp.

All you need to do is perhaps get booster shots for current vaccinations, or tested for immunity (Titer tests) for your own piece of mind, or if you plan on going to college, most schools want to see your vaccinations record.

Moving to "Moving to USA" forum.
