Well, this is the last day of our 4 day weekend, which was sorely needed. As this is my first July 4th here, we've gone to the 'Lake' (which is the focal point of the town we live in) and browsed the big jamboree they put on every year. It's kind of neat cuz CAPS had never been before.

Otherwise we don't set off fireworks ourselves, as the 4 felines don't manage so well around it. I expect we'll grill something too...we just went to Costco so we have all sorts of nummy food around.

I'm procrastinating. I should be on my way to re-hook up my camper/horse trailer to go dump the waste tanks that I DIDN'T do on Sunday... couldn't find the hose. Yuck. Suppose I just need to go get it done.... sigh.

I'm taking the kids to see the firework display tonight. Then I will sit and cry because I miss my man....really thought he'd be here by now. The 4th really doesn't mean much to me this year.
