What's everyone doing tomorrow? BBQ's? Have to work? :dead:

We saw some good fireworks this past Saturday night at a park.

Tomorrow we are going to my parent's house at 3pm for a BBQ. I am looking forward to a big fattening burger, yummm!!!! I never cook meat at home so I haven't had a REAL burger lately. Oh how I crave it. Not a fast food burger, but a real burger!!! That will be fun, other relatives are going there too.

Then in the evening we're going to a friends house to watch some fireworks.

So what are people doing?

The usual-cookout at the parents' house with burgers, dogs, corn on the cob, watermelon and homemade ICE CREAM (yummmm!!!!) Then we all go to the pond along with half the population of Maryland to see the concerts and fireworks. On a side note, when you mentioned the fireworks on Saturday, I couldn't get home Saturday evening (to my apartment) because they were having some display at the pond close to the apartments. I was more than a little ticked, and realized I'm turning into an old grump.

No complaints right now-boss said we can leave at 3 and I'm ready to get out of here!

We are going to a BBQ at one of his co-worker's house. Everyone is bringing stuff, so we are taking Italian sausages for the grill and I'll make a cold tortellini salad. We'll also be watching the Germany/Italy semi-final game at their house.

In the evening we will watch fireworks from the rooftop of our apartment building. There is a country club across the street from us that does their own fireworks show and it's cool to be on the roof watching them....an excellent view! They always provide refreshments and treats too. The second best thing about watching the fireworks from the roof is that we don't have to deal with the crowds, and we are back in our apartment in less than 5 minutes...hehehe. Tonight are the official ones in the city here and as usualy they expect over 1 million people to be on hand to watch them....aaack, too many people! LOL
