How you can get your wife/o/husband to call you on your cell FREE (almost)

Well i did the phone card thing and yea it sucked. So being so many have helped me here, im going to tell you a secret.

As long as your wife/husband has a internet connection, get both of you to DL skype. The person in USA has to Register and buy SkypeOut (its like 1.95 a month) i pay for 12 months. Now you guys can talk on skype or she can actually call you if you give her your account or you can setup all your skype calls to forward to your cell phone. This could be a good thing or a bad thing lol , jk. But me and my wife went through multiple 100s until i figured this out.

Just remember to get the subscription of 1.95 a month, everything is included and no extra fees. 1.95 a month and thats it. YAY!

My fiancee only has access to the Internet at an Internet Cafe. If I set up Skype out to my Cell phone, she could call me on the cell then, correct? That would be cheaper than me calling her for $2 for 90 min.

Question, Leidys only reads Spanish, can Skype be purchased by her in Colombia? I'm going there next month, so should I set up her account? How does she get started???

You are correct, as long as she has a computer that has skype. Skype is a free program, and yes you can set it up for her. Skype has a language option so it should be fairly easy for her to use as it was for my latina wife.

Easiest way to explain is this. You both download skype and get user names. On your end , you buy skype out and goto options and get your number transferred in (X) ammount of rings. (ex 3) then it gets forwarded to your cell phone. Just tell her to click your name and call, you dont even have to be online. Everything else is automatic. Me and my wife talk excessively this way lol.

Another strange thing i found out was i can text my wife for free using my sprint phone. Weird. Try it once and then check your bill.

You don't have to pay a dime to download and use Skype to talk to anyone in the world who also has Skype. You only pay if you are calling a regular phone (cell/house/business/etc.)

Google has the same thing: http://www.google.com/talk/

You just need a microphone and the internet.

yea but if you want her to call you when you are away from the computer, then yes it does cost. My wife calls me all the time when i am on the road.
