It's a long shot...but if anyone else had/has their biometrics apt at this location (Naperville, IL), maybe they can describe their time here at that location.

Also...has any one tried going to this location days before their apt (walk-in) and was able to get it done?

My husband and I want to get this done quicker and were thinking about just walking in and trying.

Received Card in Mail: 7-10-09

Uscis says we were approved 6-30-09 but nothing was updated until 7-2-09 and i didnt receive any email until 7-2-09 from CRIS

You can do a walk in at any time; our appt was in florida, we were in texas, and we went to one of the locations in the houston area, and we did a walk in weeks before of our appt.

2009-01-28===> NOA's received in the mail
2009-02-01===> Biometric appt received in the mail
2009-02-06===> Completed biometric appt thru walk-in
2009-02-06===> Applied for expedited AP thru the phone
2009-02-14===> Received AP in the mail
2009-02-11===> Case transferred to CSC
2009-02-23===> EAD received
2009-05-02===> Green card received in the mail, no interview done.

Depends on the ASC... We were in St. Paul and someone tried to walk-in and they were summarily asked to leave and come back on the scheduled day
