I am not looking to use this method as I'm almost positive that we're not eligible -- we're just normal folk...

But under what circumstances is one allowed to procure an expedited request? I am just curious....

Hope everyone's hanging in there...

Life or death situations, medical reasons, and will need letter from the doctor, humanity reasons, or if military and the petitioner is about to deploy out on orders.

That is about all the reason for a expedite.

Truly happy!!!

New life, new adventures, and a new attitude.

Can i reuest an expedite if there are bomb blasts in Pakistan where husband lives almost every week??? I mean this is frustrating i was told to wait 30 days now they are telling me to wait another 3 months and I am still not approved....

Yes possible, all you can do is call USCIS and request a expedite under these conditions occing where your husband lives, it is worth a shot, and you have nothing to lose in your pending petition. Worst can happen is they tell NO expedite.

Truly happy!!!

New life, new adventures, and a new attitude.

I haven't seen any expedites based on "bomb blasts" (or unsafe conditions).

Only way to find out is to ask, but don't get your hopes up.

good luck!

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

WARNING: Phrases in this post may sound meaner than they were intended to be. Read the Adjudicator's Field Manual from USCIS

you lose no time requesting an expedite. All they can do is say no. However, you will lose time if you do not ask and assume you do not qualify. I got my sons case expedited since my wife's case was finished at NVC. They both had seprate cases and by the time the interview come his case was interviewed with my wife's.

I married my love on 12/24/07

I filed for the I 130 on 1/23/08

Receipt number recevied 2/13/08

Paperwork sent to Guangzhou on 1/23/09

Interview 5/21/09 PASSED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Visa 5/23/09

POE 6/2/09

Home 6/3/09

FILED I-751

SENT PAPERWORK 3/8/11

NOA-1 3/10/11

BIOMETERICS 4/29/11

WAITING APPROVAL

Yes you can try.

We went with expedition request coz my wife was so sick.We sent Doctors report and wife letter to USCIS and they approved our petition after it.Again they expedite our case at NVC stage and sent directly our case to USEM islamabad. Then again we got expedition in getting the Interview date. But i got AP after my interview and expedition request can neva be accepted during AP.

Note:If ur husband need any help then see my profile and get my contact #.I will be there to help him.

Best of Luck.
