I agree, portions in the US are sometimes too damn huge, and they look disgusting :dead:

In WA, all restaurants have to post the darn calorie thingy --- which is kinda sad if you are worried about diet instead of enjoying your meal; I find it really annoying. Like seirously, do you REALLY want to know how many calories are in your Linguini Carbonara?? If you worry, have a salad.

This is why you're my mother. Seriously...if you really want or need to know the calories and can't figure it out in your head, eat something different.

Exactly. I find this obsession with counting calories, transfats, sugars, and whatnot to be a very North American thing: more so in the Us than in Canada. In Mexico, you eat as a pleasure, not as either punishment or mere nourishment. Cuisine is a feast people!!!! :dance: :dance:
