notorizes does not considered as certified. you better send origonal marriage certificate. certified copy means it issued my goverment....something like that.....but notarized would not be accepted as certified.

Im sending the original in gujarati but the English version won't be an original as they will only give it to her in Gujarati.

Just send certified ( in india it also called, true copy, ) in english . i never got my marirage certificate in gujarati, i only got it in english. I send certified copy and they have accepted it.

In the interview letter from NVC they showed that i have sent the original marriage certificate.( as said, i sent the certified copy, but nvc think i sent original)

When you go to VFS to submit document , they will take your original marriage certificate than.

Also as they asked my wife to bring her original birth certificate in gujarati at time of interview , they might ask you to do the same.

wow, i actually read all 21 pages today. whew! congrats on all the visas! thanks DesiDon for creating this forum, i shall utilize when we get to that point. i already have all the documents ready for the nvc stage, accept for the passport pcc. but do have the husband's local one on hand

Wait some time, you should receive your DS-3023 in e-mail, mine took 10 days from NVC case #.

how much did u pay for your wify's ticket, is she really coming on 8-28-09?? if she is then u r lucky man....may wify is coming on after three week.

AIr india's 18 hrs lights really heps man.......... the ony doubt u have is that i dont think that air india providing boeing from ahmedabad to frankfurt. do u know about this?

Yep, she is coming on 28th Aug, in Air India from AMD to Frankfurt to Newark. but I got that because I booked ticket last month. If you are still looking for ticket, and a cheap one than let me know I can give you the contact information of the Agent I normally buy a ticket from and you may get the good deal.

My wife changed her last name to mine and the DS3032 form NVC sent has her maiden name, so my question is the paper I had her sign has her married name is that OK?
