For CR1 IV packet submitting without PCC

My wife was telling me that as of last week they will no longer issue local PCCs, you can only get PCC from ahmedabad due to a lot of fraud and scandals going on with the local PCC stuff. She said there was something in the newspaper in regards to this but she will scan it and send it to me hopefully tomorrow.

Oh okay.. thanks! And about medical exam, I will be going to to Ahmedabad for that and will I get the medical exam packet the same day of my medical exam?

Yes you will get the medical package same day in the evening, be there on time ..

Yea, she just told me that once the IV Bill is paid and we get a receipt they will give local PCC. So newspaper thing isn't into affect yet.

Good news,

My Wify visa has been approved and visa is already in hand!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

interview experience was same as rest of VJ members. it took two hours to get through interview.....she spent much of her two hours in waiting, interview just lasted 5 miniutes.........................i will give u more info as it become available.

she picked up her passport from vfs office at 4 30.

interview experience was very good........it was hassel free.......

interview did not took so long it was just 10 minutes.............as Jay said much of time you spend in waiting.

did u go to honeymoon?

who lives with ur husband?

does ur husband has Sibling (i guess wrong spelling)??

they took PCC since we not submitted in NVC process....

around 6:50 in the morning my wife went into the consulate building. there was a long line for for security check-up. it took a while ..... after passed from security check-up she waited in waiting lounge for her turn.......her name called up for first interview where they collect all needed documents from benificiary and give back all origonal documents. she was aked few question ...

who is sponsor

where he lives...

asked to submitt PCC for both local and passport office. (PCCS DID NOT SUBMITTED TO NVC)

after that she was asked to seat donw and wait for your name called.

after 5 minutes her name was announced.......went to the window..

gujarati translator and officer was there......

these are the question asked by translator.....

1. who is sponsor

2. where is ur husband lives, address

3. does your husband has sibling

4. who lives with you husband

5. what is ur husband occupation and where he wroks

6. what do u do

7. what is marriage date and how lond ago did u got married.

8 was it love marriage or arrange marriage

9 how did u meet or thourgh whom u both met.

10. did u go to honeymoon

11. where did u go to honeymoon

12. do u have picture of marriage (officer look at the albul but did not ask any question)

ok ur visa is approved (tamne Visa apavama aave che !!!)

you will receive your visa by VFS in three days.

after that she lives the building

she waited there untill 4:30 to pick here passport and the sealed package from VFS office which is near by consulate.

journey is over at this point..............

hopefully this is cleared......

my wife most probably coming between september 10 through september 15. she want to stay there untill october 2, i guess that is not possible after all these hassel we are doing to make process fast!!!

question for u desi,

do know wheather we need income tax clearance certificate of not??? i have heard that when you abroad at Ahmedabad air port u need have income clearance certificate. (this is the certificate that confirms that a person going abroad do not owe any taxes to indian goverment). i am not sure its needed or not so i am confused let me know if u have any information. this certificate has nothing to do with interview so dont worry.

So you didnt submit any PCC with your DS230 form? And what documents did they collect about beneficiary?

yes i did not submitt any pcc with ds-230. i just state in the cover letter that pcc would be shown at the time of interview.

she was asked to submitt PCC (local and passport office). what i am saying is that if there is any document missing in the file they would ask for it.
