For CR1 IV packet submitting without PCC

Hello Guys,

I thought I could also share my experience since I am also in the same visa category. I have sent my another sent of IV packet which was RFE because earlier one I sent was all photocopies and I didnt paid attention to what certified copy meant. Then I got RFE that said documents missing or incomplete, and got the checklist for that to send in original birth certificate, original marriage certificate and regional passport police clearance. I have gone through this topic and learnt that regional PCC will be shown at the time of interview.

Now, I have sent the another packet of DS 230 through fedex and NVC have already recd on monday. Can you guys tell me when should I get my interview date?

What is this PCC? something specific to India? to the CR1 visa

I am in the IR path with embassy in France and did send documents to NVC. Never heard about PCC

Yeah, this is for CR1 visa category. PCC stands for Police Clearance Certificate. Yeah this topic is for Indian applicants especially from Gujarat State in India.

Yes, my friend,

Certified copies meant the red stamp we make on the copies from court... I those as well.. but i sent my originals, just to stay away from this similar confusion...

So if they receive your documents on Monday then it takes about 10 days to complete the case from there .. and your interview date should be scheduled by 2nd week of August (if you get lucky and you case gets completed by next week).. and that will be sometime in last week of September... else you'll get your interview date in 1 week of November for sure 100% guaranteed. cheers

Many thanks. Yeah, this time I am sure I will not get RFE as I sent in originals now except the regional PCC which I will take it to my interview. I am hoping Sept last week interview or then it would be early Oct interview

No they will not except it.. i mean you'll have to take your medical things to interview and that is also just incase if they ask for..

For my cousin's wife they didnt even ask for it... you have to show it at your POE...

and

No they will not except it.. i mean you'll have to take your medical things to interview and that is also just incase if they ask for..

For my cousin's wife they didnt even ask for it... you have to show it at your POE...

Well, I submitted DS 230 part 1 and 2 again, this time in my married name because the earlier one was in maiden name and I used that maiden name in newly sent forms in aliases. My whole process starting from I-130 to DS 230 has my maiden name and now they have got another packet which I sent have my married name. Will that delay the processing?

I filed for my wife and everywhere from I130 i put her married name. so I am not sure on how will they react for your using maiden name till now and using the married name on DS230..

I can only say good luck..because I have not heard such a case...
