On the form I-864, it asks a copy of Federal income tax return, and W-2s.

I am the intending Immigrant, I had $11300 income last year, but my wife did not, however she is the sponsor.

1. Can I use my income on I-864 to meet the property line?

2. I filed the tax return, and mailed it out last year without making copies, now where should I get it?

or may be since me and my wife were all full time college students last year, we don't need to send any documents before this current year. All we need is the current income, which it can be obtained in a letter from our current company.

thanks

1) NO  it MUST be US Citizen (Sponsor's income)

NOTE: IF you worked in the USA and are still working and you had work permissions then you can ADD your income to your spouses by filing an I-864A along with your spouse's I-864.

2) IRS return OR Simple IRS transcript is REQUIRED for the I-864.

You can order trnascripts by calling an 800 number. http://www.irs.gov/taxtopics/tc156.html?portlet=1

I see on form I-864 #24 part e says I don't need to complete I-864A, becasue I am the intending immmigrant because he has no accompanying dependents.

I-864A can be used by intending immigrant if they are authorized to work in the USA, and because they are a member of the sponsor's (US Citizen/Spouse) household.
