hello members, :thumbs:

i'm about to send the petition application that i fill out. i have a couple questions. :unsure: Sister petition will really take 10 to 12 years? how come? "that's pretty long waiting" i just wanna be with my sister so bad. . i never seen her since year 2000. shes 32 years old now and have 2 kids. i don't have a US passport yet. should i apply first? or my Citizenship Certificate is enough? my sister is currently working in Hongkong. should i put her address where she work? or her home address in our own country born? :blink:

She will be classified as Family fourth (F4)... they are currently processing petitions from 1998 for most chargeable areas

You can file now all that is needed is proof of citizenship.

Yes it takes years, there is a limit on the number of visas issued per year, siblings fall into the lowest priority.

Use her current residence address, this can be corrected when NVC eventually gets petition.
