I missed a lot in here havent been here for a while. And yes, we got married last may 23, 2009 a very wonderful wedding indeed. But now, I have a big problem. We got our marriage certificate yesterday there was a mistake with my name, My first name which was supposed to be 2 names, they removed my second name and put it as my middle name and my middle name was the one that they put as my last name and now my former last name wasnt even there. When we applied for the marriage certificate everything was correct and now it was messed up.

I called the town hall today and they said they can fix it in 3-6 mos. OMG! are they kidding me? my visa will expire on August. What should I do? I called the USCIS and they said that I can still file my AOS but I need to get a copy of the correction and my documents will be on hold until i submitted my corrected marriage license. Im in dilemma right now!;(

I need some help here!

And also, I tried calling the Philippine consulate NY but all of there numbers are not working. Anyone here who has the recent number? thanks.

I wouldn't be buying the "3 to 6 months" excuse from the city hall. It didn't take them that long to issue the certificate, so it shouldn't take that long to correct it. I'd go down there and start banging my fist onto somebody's desk. It's their screw up, and they have an obligation to fix it.

As far as your visa goes, you have satisfied the conditions - you got married within the 90 days, so I wouldn't worry.
