Time and Gravity are relevent. The larger the mass will have a larger gravitational field. Therefore, at the event horizon all time will stop. You can freeze time when you land on the event horizon of the black hole.

i bet that someone will be dumb enough to try that.

Hawkins latest paper was on the gravity of a black hole, it would prevent intelligence from escaping. I am anxiously waiting for his next paper on how to measure the IQ of a black hole.

Have a difficult time with this time/space thingy, just seems to me the clock is still ticking. In regards to the speed of light being finite, makes a lot of sense if the image of, say your face was sent out into deep space that that image would not change or age. But we are dealing with an image, not your face. Also have an image of my face on a photograph, that hasn't changed over the years, but my face sure has. LOL, look a lot younger today.

Sure, as you can watch yourself stretched into a string as you are being sucked one molecule at a time into the singularity!

I read in Stephen Hawkings book in regards to the black hole event horizon. He said, if anything touches it, that object will not be able to enter the black hole or leave the black hole for infinity. His theory still has a lot of flaws. I'm with Lisa Randall on her Brahman Universe theory.
