And results were:

I am American and ...

I am circumcised [ 13 ] ** [28.89%]

I am not circumcised [ 0 ] ** [0.00%]

Not applicable (woman / no ####### / not American / etc) [ 32 ] ** [71.11%]

I am British and ...

I am circumcised [ 0 ] ** [0.00%]

I am not circumcised [ 6 ] ** [13.33%]

Not applicable (woman / no ####### / not British / etc) [ 39 ] ** [86.67%]

I am neither American nor British and ...

I am circumcised [ 2 ] ** [4.44%]

I am not circumcised [ 2 ] ** [4.44%]

Not applicable (woman / no ####### / American / British / etc) [ 41 ] ** [91.11%]

All American men who voted are circumcised or have no penises.

Not a statistically significant sample space, but why should that stop us? I would definitely urge that we use this statistic as just yet more proof that Obama is leading us down a path to destruction.

Circumcision helps protect men, not women from AIDS

Thu Jul 16, 2009 6:57pm EDT

By Maggie Fox, Health and Science Editor

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Circumcision may help protect men from the AIDS virus but it does not protect the wives and female partners of infected men, researchers reported on Thursday.

The disappointed researchers had to stop the trial, which they had hoped would confirm early suggestions that circumcision would protect men and women alike.

But, they said, circumcision is so effective in protecting men that will still likely benefit women indirectly by reducing circulation of the virus in general.

"We were disappointed that the trial did not show protection from HIV infection in women, as was expected from observational studies," Dr. Maria Wawer of Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore and colleagues in Uganda wrote in the Lancet medical journal.

"The trial was stopped early because of futility."

AIDS is caused by the fatal and incurable human immunodeficiency virus and is transmitted mostly through sex. It has killed 25 million people since it was identified in the early 1980s and infects an estimated 33 million.

Most cases are in Africa, passed along mainly by sex between men and women. Researchers have demonstrated several times that men who are circumcised are less likely to become infected by female partners.

The foreskin of the #######, which is removed during circumcision, is rich in cells that are particularly easy for the virus to infect. The theory is that removing this source of vulnerable cells makes infection more difficult.

Wawer's team recruited 922 uncircumcised, HIV-infected, men aged 15 to 49 years. Some were immediately circumcised and some had the procedure delayed for two years.

The researchers also followed 163 wives or female sex partners of these men.

"Circumcision of HIV-infected men did not reduce HIV transmission to female partners over 24 months; longer-term effects could not be assessed," Wawer's team wrote.

"Condom use after male circumcision is essential for HIV prevention."

The sex partners of circumcised men also were no less likely to get other sexually transmitted infections with the exception of one called trichomonas.

"However, the efficacy of male circumcision for prevention of HIV in uninfected men is clear, and reductions in male acquisition of HIV attributable to circumcision are likely to reduce women's exposure to HIV-infected men. Male circumcision programs are thus likely to confer an overall benefit to women," the researchers concluded.

We just had two baby boys and got them circumcised. Their daddy is not and felt it better to have them done. He has commented to me on several occasions that he wishes he was because his bothers him. I've tried to talk him into getting it done but after watching the boys get circumcised I'd say there is no way I'll ever convince him. He'll just deal with the aggravation of it now.

Just couldn't stay my @ss away!

I remember shortly after my son was born a nurse came to get him to have he schedule 'C' done... She gave me a ration of Sh!t asking me why am I doing this to my son. and spouting everything she could think of as a reason to not do it ... my response was.. shut up and do your job.. its none of your business the Dr is waiting... its amazing how someone can be so emphatic trying to impose thier beliefs on another... The idea of having the C done was discussed at length prior to his birth.. no regrets... well maybe 1, I should have talked to the nurses supervisor about her comments...

That foreskin doesn't grow back, suppose if you really want to restore it, could find a good plastic surgeon to do it, but he will need a piece of skin from somewhere else on your body to emulate it.

Most obvious spot that is related, would be your middle finger, but then you couldn't use that finger for it's vulgar purpose, so you are screwed either way. And would be a tight fit, a darn tight fit. Problems, always problems.
