Hi all...

Been posting awhile now...but never gave our story.

John and I met on a website called Second Life. We spent a lot of time together there, cyber-dating if you will. After almost a year, he proposed to me on the phone, then again in person when we finally met face to face in Daytona Beach, FL., Feb 2008. We are both bikers and wanted to go to Bike Week. We had a wonderful 10 days. Then I went to meet his family and friends in Holland in August 2008. It was the best 3 weeks. He came here to California in Feb of this year for my birthday for 10 days, and I am back out to Holland for 2 weeks in August.

We are hoping for our NOA2 any day now to move forward with our lives.

That was the Reader's Digest version because it is now after 11 pm...and I gotta get up early in the morning to work.

I wish you everything of the best in your journey to be with your boyfriend. I also met my hubs online 10 years ago and have gone through the whole process. I live in the US today and we have been married for eight years. Never regretted the decision to give up my country and culture and never been happier!

It's not so much the miles we have travelled as the journey we have taken.

Thank you! I am determined that we keep a little Dutch in our lives. LOL. I think my fiance comes from a beautiful country and I love his family as my own now. I cannot wait until we can start our lives together...hopefully by the holidays THIS YEAR!!!!
