I probably wouldn't mind hoses if they had some pressure to them or some kind of nozzle to direct the spray, but most I encountered were basically just a hose connected to the faucet. Drip, drip. You could always do the thumb over the end of the hose like when you water your grass or wash your car, but I'm already a hand or two down trying to hold my pants up out of the water on the floor, shirt out of the way of the water, and directing the spray all at the same time. I didn't stay there long enough to figure it all out but there's gotta be a technique to it. (And I'm not talking about the wipe with the left, wash it off with the hose.) Maybe next time.

This thread is another great example how every russian thread lives on the Tangent. Headline for the thread "It must be love, Russian style" Somehow has evolved into the quality of restroom facilities around the world and the use thereof.

I really missed it, it brings me great joy to see this kind of mottled thinking because it makes perfect sense to me.

The interesting thing about this thread is the OP is the one that took it off track. My original post was about slippers but then I posted about the toilets upon my return from Russia.

I agree, I like this mottled thinking

If it makes sense to you guys, good. Because once your ol' ladies get here you're going to need fluidity of thinking. There's nothing like getting yelled at for not cleaning the toilet and then asked about whether or not you booked vacation, all without stopping for breath. You have to be able to think on your feet. Or your rear, which ever is more helpful. Probably both, actually.

Classic  Whatever pops into the head comes right out the mouth. It is your job, as a man, to organize and keep track of all that stuff. Lord help you if you forget something that later proves to be important. Important is subjective (as we know) and will change with the mood.

Yup, Anna does this too. As of right now, it's one of the things I love about her. Subject to change of course. ;)

My wife posted this big long list of things on our refrigerator. At the top it said - "VOZHNA!" in Russian. When I asked her what vozhna was, she said "It's means what's important. It's list of things in my life that I must be do and it's list of stuff you must take care about."

So, I guess not even she can keep them straight in her own head there's so many "important" things floating around in there.

I'm sticking to my nothing box. I have four days off for this holiday weekend and I'm going to do NOTHING!!!!

The list I give is on top of the normal things like she will send me to get the groceries, I buy everything on the list come home and she starts asking where things are, disappointed and angry look, you didnt buy bread or mushrooms or beef or cookies!!! Honey they werent on the list and you told me to buy only whats on the list( I get fascinated by glittering packages at the graocery store) so if its not on the list I dont buy. Her response you will have to go back, and I say make a list. Then we start the cycle all over again.
