Touched today and email

Hello fellow VJ'ers. I recieved an email today and got touched. The email said that on the 23rd an RFE was sent out but maybe they use that as a standard letter because I have seen other people with it and they just sent mine out. Did anyone have the same situation where they've gotten notice of RFE in email but didn't recieve it in the mail ?

You will get an RFE in a few days, 5-7 days probably. Add 1-2 days for them to actually post it (leave the room where they update your status, go into posting office to the actual post office truck) and another 2-3 to reach you since it´s not FEDEX.

Received 2 e-mails this morning (03 Jul 06) saying the RFE was mailed on 23 June 06. Are they staggering the mailings to not be "flooded" by responses? I believe this is the IMBRA RFE. Hopefully, we'll know in a few days.

Yep, I am in the same boat as all of you. After sending an email last week to CVS inquiring about the status of our RFE, I received a response from a CVS employee indicating that my RFE was sent out on 6/23. This morning, i received the "official" email from USCIS indicating once again that the RFE was sent out 6/23. I am in Chicago--not so far from California--so I think they must have reinstated the "Pony Express" as their new mail system.

Me too. I think this is EXACTLY the case - stagger to avoid being bombarded - but they told everyone they were mailed on June 23 to get us off their backs.

Yes the exactly same thing happened to us today. I hope we're receiving by snail mail the RFE this week.

Glad to see that I'm not the only one. I'm also in Chicago so getting over the Rockies might take some time. Good luck to all of us.

ugh..., agree with what u r saying Kitkat, they just want to get us off their back. .. I am the same here, got email notices but have not seeing the RFE .. Hopefully all of us will be able to received it soon and wish that our petitions will not go to the end of the pile (I know that CSC might process our file based on the NOA1 date, but who can believe that is what they will do .. ..)

Just got the mail. The RFE is here!! As I received the e-mails this morning, I did not expect it until the end of the week (at the earliest).
