I love this kind of thing - real potential for putting one's foot in one's mouth

Well don't keep me in suspense BY - what are the "common views" from the UK? In your learned opinion...?

In all seriousness six I just have a laugh at seeing you write about topics you have no clue about. I am convinced you lived in a coma while in the UK.

Which is why I have challenged you to go to the UK and we can ask random people about topics and gauge their responses. We don't even need to do that. Why don't we go to some UK oriented non-immigration forums, run by some of your ideas and then see what they think.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

How about you start by answering the question BY.

You don't need to come up with a Wile-E-Coyote scheme to do that...

Well in all fairness Pedroh is blocked for other reasons. Mainly so we don't argue. As I think he is an good bloke.

When it comes to Tav, guilty as charged. Not even going to hide it.

If they were blocked you wouldn't be responding to them.

Sometimes I just cannot resist to look at tav posts. A nanosecond and a few words later, I remember why I blocked them in the first place.

Reading four years worth of your responses once, is more than enough.

The theme that is evident over and over again is that you will criticize and rebut anyone you don't agree with (or like) but you will never show any evidence to back up your own points. Now, I don't really have a problem with that and I am not some uscandual. What I have a problem with is someone insisting that another posters is wrong yet failing to back themselves up. Or better yet, someone who pulls a Steven with fox news and simply disregards anything and everything, basically because it does not support their views. It is that sort of ####### why this country is in this mess. Where, by default, republicans are wrong and then by default democrats are wrong. Hence a stalemate. Something that is not as common under a parliamentary system might I add.

If I am proven wrong, I change my mind. You don't and never have. I don't treat politics or issues like a sports team, that is, backing them up to death no matter what. As life is not a game and affects both my life as well as others. Being British you should know that right? ;)

Six I could line 100 Brits up and they could all disagree with you; yet you would still rebut them. That is your style. Yes even when randomly selecting them and factoring in sd, margin of error and so on.

In all seriousness, do you drive a beetle equivalent car?

I remember you saying you dislike soccer. Do you even like cricket?

I am assuming you dislike trance / house music.

You like weird #### horror #######.

You Loathe the mass media.

Now we're getting there - but you're going to have to do a little better than that BY.

Or next time - be sure to insert your entire leg into your mouth before you decide to open it.

Based on some of these views, it seems a lot of people on VJ are happy that the United State is becoming a South American second worldish country.

You mean a "North American second worldish country"?

Some people are just not comfortable in the first world.

Nah, I just wanted to illustrate that you never bother answering questions, especially when they are about you, so why should I.

I'm thinking they have confused the second world for second life.

You didn't illustrate anything BY.

You posed the question - surely you can answer it plainly. Again:

What are these "typical British views" that make mine so totally untypical?

I mean you've got British mates - you're *obviously* clued up on what all 60 million of us are thinking.

This thread is going nowhere and has for some time. Listening to bickering back and forth gains nothing. Warnings and more have been issued through the course of this thread and it is now time to close it down.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”
