I have said before and I will say it again, people here are way to sensitive here. Me and my wife always go back and forth with men/woman jokes. Now thanks to Weller I have a new joke to tell my wife. I have told many racial jokes in the past and it doesnt make me a racist. Its just having fun with the stereotypes.

You have to realise though that when you're in a position of authority and representing a diverse communy that you can't really indulge in this kind of thing publicly.

It doesn't have anything to do with being sensitive as with having a degree of common sense and a grasp of what is appropriate and justifiable.

The second two jokes I didnt find funny but I didnt get offended though because its just a joke and thats why people shouldnt get offended. I love hearing whitey jokes.

a. investigate their private associations, private communications and views.

b. remove these people from these positions after public exposure.

We did it back in the McCarthy era so why not do it now?

I really don't see how difficult it can be to understand the concept that public officials should behave in a responsible manner that doesn't alienate or disparage their constituents.

What is the context? That the people who were subjected to these jokes not only appreciated them but sought them out?

Of course its human error - the guy is sort of responsible for his actions is he not?
