Okay, thanks everyone for your recent replies but I have one more question as I am confused. In section 5 it states to list information about your children - list all your children.

My 2 children are both American citizens so am I supposed to leave that part blank or what should I put? I am assuming that this space is for people who have children who are also getting conditions lifted? Please help!

TY!

I was wondering the same thing. We have one son still in Colombia, one Daughter ( USC ) who resides in another state, 2 conditional children ( we apply for them in January ) so I am also going to list all of them just in case.

Why is it that the only one who can stop the crying is the one who started it in the first place?

Am confused with that question too since i have 2 kids in the Philippines and 1 US ctizen b orn to our marriage. People here said leave it blank since that question pertains to your children who are adjusting their status with you.

I just called USCIS - the customer service line and OMG, I asked them about section 5 and the lady I spoke with told me she can't answer that question for me since it is a "legal" question and that I have to call an immigration attorney.

WTH? Are you serious!?

So I called an attorney ... the only one in my area and she tells me they do not do free phone consultations but rather a one hour consultation for $45. This is ridiculous. It won't take but one second to answer my question.

I'm just going to list my children because this needs to go out in the mail TODAY - can't wait any longer as I am running out of time. I will just include a separate sheet of paper and state that I was not sure if I was to list them or not because they are both American citizens. Hopefully they won't deny my application if I do this wrong.

i would include all you children as it does say "list all your children"..

but if your child as a A# and is a citizen too don't include the A#.. I think that was the problem someone else had on this board... they included the A# and that the child was a citizen

It is really confusing.. but I have read the instruction of the form I-751 on question number 5 and clearly it states only list those children who are adjusting their status with you.

Still confused but I still have'nt submitted my I-751 as i am waiting for the opening of my 90 days window. Hope someone can help us about this question.

actually it doesn't say only it says include...

In Part 5 of the form, please make sure to include any conditional resident children applying with you in order to have their conditional basis removed, or they may file separately.

also why would it say "A # (If any)" on the form.. all permanent residents are going to have a A#

or why would it say this "If in U.S., give address/immigration status"

Hi Ladies,

To help you answer your question, read this heated thread about the same question you have.

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=197495

I would suggest only include the children whose conditions are to be removed along with the parent. Rest the choice is yours.

What most folks doesn't get is I-751 is only for the conditional resident and has nothing to do with citizen child. Although you do have to attach the birth certificate of US born child but if you put them in might confuse the already confused IO.

Or If you do want to include them.

Put N/A for A# for US born child and N/A for other children not us (foor which then you have attach their info etc).

So the choice is all your.

Hope it helps.

Good Luck.
