But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

We live close, Bloomington, the USCIS calls St. Paul that makes the Bloomington people angry is our local field office. Also the real St. Paul is our nearest international airport. The Minnesota state bird is the mosquito, while they like to call it the state of 10,000 lakes, could just as well call it the swamp, but 10,000 lakes sounds better, don't you agree?

Brother lived north of Winona for years near the river on those high banks, in August, many rattlesnakes would crawl in his yard looking for mates or whatever, but unlike the Texas kind, they were slow and stupid. Also had a bunch of in-laws with farms on the southern halve. Like Duluth in the summer near the lake, you don't need air conditioning, but helps to keep the furnace running, spend my share of time in the Mesabi iron mines. Can also take an exciting boat ride in Lake Superior in late fall or early spring.

People in the Twin Cities do not like interstates, after some 50 odd years, do you think they will quit taking the road construction crews to court and finish that damn system?

When we cross the St. Criox River, we switch our jackets from Packer to Viking jackets, have to do that to stay alive. But one of my kids went to the U of MN, same price as a resident.

International Falls is cool, literally.

We have a bunch of those hick towns in WI as well, looked in the phone directory, everybody living there has the same last name. Often wondered about the inbreeding problems in those towns. Ignorance is also key, most have never left those towns, just one very tiny little world for them. But they all have at least two bars.

3 out of the 10 families on my street are related. I think that half the town is related and they marry their cousins. I live in one of those god fearing hick towns that we finally got a bar and a liquor store last year, but there are 4 or 5 churches.
