It's possible that I will not have a co sponsor. If I can include my child support then I will be financially ok to qualify for the income guide lines.

Can child support be used as part of my income. I am in the process of the CR1. I am gathering all my documents for NVC. Please help.

Yes

Ok thank you so much. What documents would I have to show as proof.

My GUESS is that you will need your court documents that show how much was ordered. I would also include verfication of receiving it - since majority of those who owe don't actually pay.

No man,

Child support is to support the child only. It is funny that take child support money to support the other foreigner .

Không có gì quý hơn độc lập tự do."

Tôi biết nó, thằng nói câu nói đó

Tôi biết nó, đồng bào miền Bắc này biết nó

Việc nó làm, tội nó phạm ra sao

Nó đầu tiên đem râu nó bện vào

Hình xác lão Mao lông lá

Bàn tay Nga đầy băng tuyết giá

Cũng nhoài qua lục địa Trung Hoa

Không phải xoa đầu mà túm tóc nó từ xa

Nó đứng không yên, tất bật, điên đầu

Lúc rụi vào Tàu, lúc rúc vào Nga

Nó gọi Tàu Nga là cha anh nó Và tình nguyện làm con chó nhỏ

Xông xáo giữ nhà gác ngõ cho cha anh

Since I don't receive any child support am I then to subtract out money? NO of course not! That's why you count all your dependants!

It actually makes sense to me since child support should not be considered extra income so the beneficiary can count on that, it's money that should go exclusively towards the child/children's well being. BUT... it can be used as additional income for immigration visa purposes.

I shouldn't say I don't receive ANY support that would be a lie, but $4,800 in 16 years for 3 kids just really a drop in the bucket! LOL!
