i got problem on my baptismal because insted my family name is LUNGAT they put it there LUNGOT and insted my birthdate is on july 11 they put it july 27.it be big work for me to did it right again.im having my interview this coming next week.i just want to ask people who already having there interview done.the consul will be necesary to ask the baptismal?pls rply me asap i need to know early before its to late..thanks for the reply and i appreciate it a lot.

SEPT 03-2008---wen my baby went back home
OCT 07-2008---complete petition has been filed
OCT 10-2008---receive NOA1
DEC 29-2008---2nd visit and wer both happy
JAN 01-2009---my baby tim proposed me and im happily engaged
JAN 15-2009---wen my baby went back home to US
MAR 11-2009---3rd visit and wer together again thanks God for the time u give us.
MAR 16-2009---he fly back to US again,i really miss him and cant handle to be far from him.
APRIL 01-2009---RFE
APRIL 08-2009---touch
APRIL 28-2009---NOA2 hard copy receive
MAY 04-2009---NVC letter receive..yeeheee!!!
MAY 25-2009---medical.. PASSED!!!!
JUNE 16-2009---interview..APPROVED!!!thanks God
JUNE 19-2009---visa on hand
JUNE 22-2009---US entry POE Minneapolis
AUG 22-2009---MARRIED

SEPT 28-2009---NOA1 receive
OCT 15-2009---BIOMETRICS APPT. DONE
OCT 17-2009---RFE recent tax
NOV 15-2009---EAD and AP RECEIVE in MAIL
NO INTERVIEW in my GREENCARD
DEC 10-2009---GREENCARD APPROVAL letter send
DEC 14-2009---GREENCARD APPROVAL letter on mailbox
DEC 15-2009---GREENCARD on HANDS woohoo.. thanks God

they did not ask baptismal during my interview :)

August 17, 2009 - Received NOAs of AOS, EAD and AP
Sept. 15, 2009 - Biometrics Appointment
Sept. 24, 2009 - Received E-mail approval notice for EAD and AP
October 2, 2009 - AP on hand
October 3, 2009 - EAD card on hand
November 12, 2009 - Interview Date / Approved
November 23, 2009 - Green Card Received

March 21, 2012 - Lifting Conditions

May 22, 2013 - Citizenship

You will be fine as long as you have the birth cert. from NSO

Its my understanding that the Baptismal Cert. is just a supporting document and not a requirement. I don't think the religous aspect has anything to do with it. My fiance and I decided to get her's due to the fact that her NSO birth certificate is barely readable. Her interview is June 10th, so I will send you a PM if the consul looks at hers. If the consul doesn't look at her Bapt. Cert. then I can't imagine them looking at anyone elses. Her NSO birth cert. is pretty bad.

Letter Finally recieved April 24th
June 10th interview date
Passed medical on May 26th (But, not allowed to get vaccinations)
June 10th Pink slip recieved (Yeee-hawww!!!) Consul interview lasted 5 min.
CFO- Completed in Cebu
POE-(LAX, Flew into together on July 17th, took only 5 min.)
Married August 11th (Now the AOS journey begins)

Recieved Packet Oct. 6th
Recieved NOA AOS, EAD, AP Oct. 17th.
Recieved Biometrics Appointment letter Oct. 23rd
Biometrics Appointment Nov. 2nd.
Advanced Parole approved Nov. 23rd
EAD Work Authorization received Dec. 6th
Permanent Resident Card and Welcome letter received Dec. 15th

No need to worry, baptismal certificate is just a supporting doc. They will not ask for it if you don't have problem with your NSO birth certificate. Goodluck sa interview.
