Hi fellow Vj's I got my replacement 10 years Green Card today November 14, in the mail box!

Bump....nothing yet for us. Not even a "touch." Ugh! In another two weeks, it will have been six months and will be time to start calling.

when did you file I-751. My receipt date 06/04/09, I haven't received approval yet. Most June filers have received GC.

yes, VSC. I sent my applicaton on 06/03/09. biometrics on 07/09/09. My biomerics was 07/09/09, they sent cancellation notice and rescheduled on 7/21/09. I still went on /7/09/09. I am not sure if there is any problem.

BTW do you know there is a forum for people whose i751 has been pending for over a year here..... I joined it already :crying:

Finally after five months of waiting I got my approval letter

My wife and step-daughter got the NOA in the mail today for approval. Finally! Funny thing is that my wife and step-daughter left (today) to go visit the family in Colombia. Last Friday we called USCIS because we were concerned about them traveling with expired green cards. My wife had the original NOA (proving that she had filed the 751 - so she was OK), but my step-daughter had never received one. The USCIS rep confirmed that it was strange that my step-daughter had never gotten her own NOA (although we had previously called to get her case number). He recommended that we make an infopass appt. to get her passport stamped before she left (even though she is a minor and she was included on the 751, she apparently would not be covered by my wife's NOA). While there were no appointments available for Monday, we were lucky that they had an appointment Tuesday morning (today). So, off to Orlando for the appointment at 9:30 a.m. The lady who helped us was very nice (and the new USCIS building in Orlando is beautiful) and she was the first to inform us that the removal of conditions petitions had been approved for both of them. She took both of their green cards as well as my wife's NOA, but put 90 day stamps in both of their passports. After the appointment, I took them to the airport for their flight (which was not until 5:30 tonight). She doesn't yet know that the NOA arrived. So, a little inconvenience, but in the end we got what we've been waiting for. Hope the rest of you get your approval soon. See you all on the citizenship forum!
