I am very happy to tell you that I was approved for my Removal of Condition last October 20, 2009. I just check our mail box today and I received the most beautiful letter from VSC. Now waiting for the actual green card....Thank you very much and thank you Lord! Can you also please add me to the list for VSC approval!

Fisrt of all a big congrats to you....... I have been watching you very closely because your timeline and mine are exactly the same. Even the cancellations of biometrics and all. SO you have really made me anxious.

MY question is did they update the website for yours? Coz I check that website religously.

MY question is did they update the website for yours? Coz I check that website religously.

No they did not update anything on the USCIS website for me....I just received the actual letter from VSC in the snail mail.....Hang in there...You will have yours within this week....

Finally the wait is over I got my approval letter yesterday..

The funny thing is how it happened.. I left the US in November 16th to Finland in a 10 days businesses trip.. when I came back on the 26th they gave my some hard time in the airport (Not because of 1-751 but the regular process to take you to a second room and ask you why did you leave?, how long ? ...etc and taking finger prints and photo again.. this the third time they did that to me) this took 45 minutes. and when they told me to go I was so tired and grumpy bcz of this and i was too close tom miss my connection.. I called my wife to tell her that I am in the US now and I finished customs and Passport control and she told me I just checked the mail and you got your approval letter :):):):) the date is 10/21/2009

I want to ask two things about the approval letter:

- I am a VSCer and my letter came from the Miami office ???? it is weird why it came from there?? is VSC so overwhelmed that it started to transfer application to local offices???

- They used initial for my first name on the letter i.e if you are John Smith the letter will say J. Smith?? Do i have to call to correct this or it is normal???

I want to thank everyone and I hope we will close this thread soon and get all the approvals..

FYI.. my status online is still pending blah blah....

See you in 7 month for N-400

I know one person from other forum, she sent her papers at the 1st of July to Vermont and she has an approval already! :thumbs: I'm August sender and hope to ger my green card very sooooooon

Thanks ELW.. I got today the email notification about card production :)

I want to ask about the names on the approval letter, They used initial for my first name on the letter i.e if you are John Smith the letter will say J. Smith?? Do i have to call to correct this or it is normal???

Hubby's approval letter also had only the first initial and then full last name. :yes: Don't worry about it. :no: The important thing is the actual green card, when you get it make sure the name is spelled out and correct!

:crying: I am going crazy........ calling the 1 800 number 3 times a day. Checking the website, chacking my mailbox........ This week has been bad I cannot even sleep. Sometimes I go through my stuff and think I should have sent more of this or that..... I think even my hubby is tired of dealing with me...... :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying:

Am I the only one?

To make it worst I have one or two friends that know somebody that knows somebody that had a horror story with immigration.

One more approval gang!! wohoooooo Im done, was so sure id get an RFE. Got the letter today.

2006

April 14 - sent I-129F to Vermont

April 25 - NOA1

May, June, July lost to IMBRA and RFE's

Aug 22 - NOA2

Sept 25 - interview date OCTOBER 13th

Oct 26 - arrived at JFK - work authorized

Nov 21 - apply SSN, received Nov 29

Dec 16 - marriage license

2007

Jan 05 - wedding

Jan 30 - AOS begins

AOS

Feb 07 - NOA1 ,check cashed

Feb 28 - notice I-485 sent to CSC

Mar 10 - Biometrics

Apr 16 - surprise RFE arrives..they lost my medical. New medical returned, Apr 23

Jun 1st - RFE ..more medical BS ( go back for TB skin test)

Jun 28 - CARD PRODUCTION ORDERED!!!

July 06- Green card arrives.

LIFTING CONDITIONS 2009

June 12 - mailed package

June 15 - check cashed

June 19 - NOA extension letter ( card expires June 26th)

July 03 - Biometrics notice

July 14 - Biometrics appointment

OCT 29 - CARD PRODUCTION ORDERED!!!
