just wondering, what happened to the VSC filers, any approvals? did all CSC filers received their greencard already? havent seen any updates here lately..

I was thinking to add the date we actually receive our green cards but... too late now! Anyone out there who got approved but didn't get their card yet? Usually they have been arriving in a week or so!

I did searches but several CSC filers have not posted anything for over a month - so they may have approvals and just not reporting it here! That includes Laurahlover, Magnolia31, danieljoaquin, and Hicham&Darlene.

A few May VSC filers are getting approvals so hopefully some June filers will, too.

Hi guys,,

This waiting is killing me...

We had an emergency at work that requires me to travel to Germany on October 16th for 10 days.... I do not know what to do.. if I refused to to travel I might loose my job As you see from my time line I got my NOA on June 3rd and I did my Biometric on July 10th..I know that VSC will start sending approvals for June filers any time now but what will happen if October 16th came without me getting my approval..

My main concerns are:

- If I got approved during my time outside the country.. is the NOA I-797C considered to be a valid document.. (my wife will be waiting for in the airport with my new GC or the approval letter).

- If they called me for an interview do they usually give 2 weeks notice? more? less? can I ask to reschedule it if they scheduled it in less than 10 days..

- If they asked for RFE, will I still be able to use my I-797C?

What do you think about this...I know I am super paranoid ... I am planning to as a lawyer.. after all paying a couple of Benjamins now is better than than headache during the reentry..

If any1 from Fort Lauderdale area who knows a good lawyer I will appropriate the recommendation..

Ash83, PLEASE do not be afraid! Your 1-year extension letter (NOA1) will be honored even if you get the approval and green card while out of the country.

If they send you a notice for an interview (VERY VERY rare for Removing Conditions), yes, it is usually - if not always - at least two weeks after the notice comes. And you can reschedule it if you need to.

If you have a RFE OF COURSE you will be able to use the I=797C if you are out of the country! The reason they give the extension is so your stay in USA is covered legally during the process.

A lawyer at this stage is just a waste of money and won't do anything for you, so you don't need to consider it!

I've just got an e-mail from USCIS today at 923pm, the email said "card production ordered"...does it mean I'm approved?

I feel the same way...I mean, there is nothing out of the ordinary with my situation...it's just so weird how the Vermont center can take so long, and yet the California one is wicked fast! I see some May filers are being approved, so it can only be another 6-8 weeks im hoping at least...

Remember any June filers please post any sniffle of an approval...we need just one to be approved to make us all feel better, at least close to it ourselves...

I am in the same boat... I will be filing with VSC and to see their time versus CSC is just driving me insane. CSC is approving as fast as under 8 wekks and any approval from VSC under 4 months is just a miracle! Please anyone if you have an information over VSC employment status or change in process time I will be sooo happy to hear.....
