There are plenty of reasons to move to California. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else in the World.

There is no room in this country for hyphenated Americanism. When I refer to hyphenated Americans, I do not refer to naturalized Americans. Guys I was checking the July Filers Thread and CSC has already approved some petitions from July... :)

Don't know if anyone was keeping track of approvals and then receipt of GC's, but I got my approval one week ago today from CSC and received 10 year GC in the mail today! Very quick!

I am a September filer but wanted to check out previous applicants and see the timeline. My husband and I moved from New York to California in April. From what I see CSC is much faster than my old Vermont. I guess California is the place to be.

But I don't have a clue where will be my local office (I now live in the Napa Valley).

02/2001 - Met in Europe

08/2004 - Moved to USA

08/2007 - Married in Brazil

09/2007 - Submitted AOS to VSC

12/2007 - AOS approved

09/2009 - Submitted I-751 to CSC

10/2009 - ROC approved (1 month 2 days from receipt date)

01/2011 - Biometrics (twice)

I went to USCIS website today, out of curiosity and checked my case status on line, and i punched my application number from the biometrics letter and to my surprise i got this, same like taho's email received from USCIS.

I went to USCIS website today, out of curiosity and checked my case status on line, and i punched my application number from the biometrics letter and to my surprise i got this, same like taho's email received from USCIS.

Application Type: CRI89 , PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED

Current Status: Card production ordered.

On September 5, 2009, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.

If you have questions about case status information provided via this site, or if you have not received a decision from USCIS within the current processing time listed*, please contact USCIS Customer Service at (800) 375-5283.

Wow!!! I am so happy for this...now i am excited to get the formal letter and the card from the mail... :dance::dance::dance:
