MaggieNomar, i was thinking of that naturalization too after our 3rd wedding anniversary. boy that would be another pain in the butt memorizing everything and then you'll only be ask 10 questions or less out of 100 reviewers guide.

Figures that the gov't would have one do so much work for nothing. Guess it's par for the course ey? No wonder immigrants know more about our country than most of us!

This I agree with ( I'm the USC ) and hubby and I are starting to study now, I have to look at the answers also, he thinks it is hilarious. I learned a lot of those in like 4th grade. :lol:

I received a "card production ordered" email today from good ol' CRIS!

Is it really possible, is this really an approval coming my way???

We haven't received ANYTHING in the mail yet. My husband thought maybe someone was playing a sick joke on me, but it's a real USCIS email and case status is updated too.

Yep it's for real :thumbs: we got the approval letter today. I hope our luck continues and we get the card pretty fast.

Good luck to all the other June filers, some of you should be getting approvals any day now!

Really now I know it's just luck, our evidence was unexceptional and in the past my husband has been treated like an applicant from a "high fraud country". We really weren't expecting this.

So keep your spirits up everybody :yes:

hi Taho, i have called USCIS after 31 days from my NOA1 because i was worried not getting the biometrics letter when everybody in this thread got theirs in less than a month. A guy that i called gave me a Referral ID after getting all the information from me. He said i can use the referral ID if i havent received the biometrics schedule after 45 days from NOA1 (thats a relief...lol) and then after a week, i received notice of action and a letter stating that i have called on this date and the status of my case. Seems like calling USCIS helped expedite my biometrics schedule.
If you called them, expect the biometrics letter in a week..I hope 2for2, just_bob and kappa received theirs soon..good luck to all of us..

Quick question, I have been married for 5 years but I got my GC only 2 years ago, as I eligible to apply for citizenship? I though you must be GC holder for 3 years before applying to the citizenship? is that right or what?

1) A lawful permanent resident for at least 5 years and at least 18 years old

2) A lawful permanent resident for at least 3 years and at least 18 years old

and you have been married to and living with the same US Citizen for the last 3 years

and your spouse has been US Citizen for the last 3 years

I was reading that if you did fingerprint 24 months ago they do not ask you to do it again is there any truth to this

In rare instances they do not want a second Biometrics to be done, but most people have to do it. I do not know about the 24 month rule. I think in most cases it is necessary because of the AOS approval timing.

My husband did Biometrics July 18, 2007. They sent Biometrics notice this time for Aug 6, 2009, but he had it done early July 29, 2000. In any case, it is over 24 months.

I wanna get an early biometric, how did you do the walk in? Is it ok to just go directly to the Service center? Will they entertain me since its not my schedule for biometrics?

Hi trazee! Just go to the office whenever you want (during office hours), and they will let you take Biometrics immediately. Many, many people went there early (including us!) and everyone is accepted. Looks like they don't care at all when your notice is dated! :no:

Congrats Filipina66. I also put a Service Request, 2 weeks ago today, Still no letter. I am probably going to wait to see if it arrives today, if it doesn't then I will call back later today. Does anybody have any idea why we(NOA dated june 22nd) have not received the bio letter, Weird because we all share the same NOA date, in the begining I thought it was a VSC thing, but I am the only one who sent it there, Just_Bob, Taho and Kappa sent it to CSC. Good to see an approval already though. 2for2

Congrats Cassandra!!!! Seems like your process went really easy and really fast!!! Hopefully we'll get ours soon ... I'll guess we'll find each other again in this forums next year when we apply for citizenship

I'm disappointed that you June 22nd date people have not gotten your biometrics yet, even though service requests were made. :crying: Is anyone able to do an Infopass, do you think that might get some action going? :unsure:
