I know many muslims here that are from Iraq. I can honestly tell you that the ones I know are bad news, and I know several. But I would NEVER EVER teach my children to stay away from Muslims or Iraqi's based on these men I know. They represent a group of wayward men, not the entire Muslim nation.

When YOU teach your kid to "stay away from muslim kids" YOU are teaching him to hate. YOU are a bigot and you're instilling bigotry in YOUR child. Please don't complain about muslim children here. We teach our kids not to judge anyone based on their race or ethnicity because that's what OUR religion teaches us. We don't need advice from you.

I care abou the way my son and soon to be husband,my loved ones ,are being treated.and if a white christian would do to my son what these two boys did to him by God I'd tell him to stay away from that kid.I will always tell my son to stay away from people that want to hurt him,regardless of color,religion or nationality.

You see? There is a big difference telling him to stay away from THAT KID from what you're telling him about the muslim children. You just said you tell him to stay away from muslim kids. Let me ask you this... think back to being five years old... if your mom told you to stay away from something... what's you first thought about that? It must be bad right? So you're telling him that muslims are bad. As I stated previously... YOU are teaching him to hate. Hatred stems from fear. How will you feel if (God forbid) he was ever injured and refused to let the muslim doctor treat him because of the fear and hatred YOU planted in his tiny little brain at such a ripe young age? Ok, my dumb question the day. How do you "know" a person is arab/muslim/christian/jew, etc? It's not like it is stamped across their forehead! You cannot look at me and tell me what nationality I am nor what religion I am. That has to be the most asinine statement I have heard. You tell your children to "stay away" from these people and you are not teaching them to hate? How may I ask are you doing this? You tell your children to stay away from them which is teaching them what may I ask???? Oh yea.....HATE. Your poor children.

Can I ask that if people here know in advance that their comments will only add fuel to a fire that they please think twice about what they say. I have read the topic and I understand that both sides have given their opinions. I think now it is just to the point of useless argueing that will hurt people's feelings.

Natashabrenda I know you have a point of view and it is easy to see how others are offended however I am not going to judge you or anyone else here based on what they type. I would hope that we can all understand that this is a topic of great debate and that since this is an international forum we should certainly be careful to think about how other's may be hurt or interpret what we say.
