Hey all you Irish K-1 folks: when you get your medical before your interview MAKE SURE THEY GIVE YOU AN EXTRA COPY OF YOUR DS-3025! You'll need this for your AOS. We didn't know, now we're screwed and scrambling to try other options.

Try and get the IO at the your fiance(e)'s port of entry to photocopy that page for you, if they are willing to do it for you.. that's what happened to me too.. my doctor didn't bother to give me a copy of the DS3025 but I asked the IO nicely if they could do it for you and they did it!!! it wasnt the best photocopy but it was fine when I had the civil surgeon transcribe my vacc records to the I-693. Just my 2cents worth. :)

Update: We got the doc to write a letter stating what vaccinations he gave him, and we're taking that to a civil surgeon here (Cleveland), who is going to do the whole medical including TB test, etc etc for $170. Skipping vaccinations in letter, thank goodness. Great price really, considering horror stories I've seen on here!

Maybe this is one tip that needs to be sticked at the top. I remember messaging a member from Romania that had gone thru the same process, and after all her advice, she added to get a copy of the 3025 because we would need it again when fiance (now wife) arrived in the usa. Indispensable advice for sure. Don't remember reading that in the guides though, but that was golden advice for sure.

I agree ikarus, sure would have saved us a heap of trouble! As it is we're lucky we found such a knowledgeable and fair doctor!
