Received Interview Letter BEFORE my EAD - is this normal?

Hi All.

So just a question - I have received a letter requesting for the initial interview for me and hubby to go - scheduled for August 4. HOWEVER i still havent received my EAD or AP. And on the USCIS website they havent updated anything - nothing has been touched (not even showing that they have sent me the letter for the interview!).

Is this normal? Im freaking out that perhaps they wont give me the EAD or im lost in the system! Has anyone experience this?

don't worry about it. it's normal. my AOS interview letter came before the AP and EAD were approved. i could not even locate any of my 3 case numbers in the USCIS case status online until the day the AP and EAD were actually approved. (57 days from filing). and the AOS cases status did not materialize until a week or so after that (few weeks before my interview).

oh thank goodness! yes and i also just received notification yesterday that my EAD card has been ordered and AP aprroved!
