Hi there,

Wondering about the following:

I am a US citizen and my wife has her CR-1 interview at the US Embassy in Bogota, Colombia next month. She will be about 2 months pregnant at the time of the interview.

A year ago I accompanied her to the same embassy for a K-1 Fiance visa and was turned down.

Is it better to accompany her to the interview or to have her go by herself? Does it help that she is pregnant??

What were you turned down for? Entering the Embassy? Or do you believe you were denied the K-1 because you were there. Sorry I don't know what you mean.

Does your wife want you at the interview? Maybe you can't actually go to the interview, as in they won't let you inside, however being just outside might be helpful as far as moral support goes, and if there is any questions the officer might have, she can always say you're just outside and can come in to answer questions.

Her being pregnant is irrelevant. I fail to see how that would be advantageous at all.

If you were denied a K-1, have you addressed the reasons why?
