Bonjour petite souris...

It's good to be able to go visit, eh? I would be lost if I wasn't able to go down every couple of months or so or him come up here. It makes a huge difference!

have a good trip and enjoy plus des fromage! ;)

Best, LGG

Thanks. 6-hour drive is not too bad; we're "lucky" there...

You're funny... and, I do bring cheese with me, or local beer, or... little surprises that are totally legal. That way I have something to declare to the agent and, I don't know, I feel like they ask less personal questions when I have goods to declare - probably only a feeling though.

Hey! That's a really good idea! Last week went I went into the USA, I could have used some sort of distraction as I was literally a stressed out cheese curd myself thinking they were going to send me back to Canada and wreck my vacation with my husband. I should bring some cheese next time. Though I'll probably end up eating it while waiting in the customs line! ;)

They didn't even ask me to look at any of the 8 million letters of ties to Canada I brought. Oh well, better safe than sorry.

Good call with the local beer -- Canadian beer is still the best in a US/Canadian comparison. Though, I've had some pretty good ones in the US...

Have fun, fellow Canadian with a USC husband.

:D

We are waiting for NOA2 as well...but we didn't filed till June...so it has just been less than a month. I read on my VJ twitter saying that it's now taking more than 2 months for CSC to process I130...sigh.

Good luck and best wishes to everyone!

I filed mine in Feb and still no Noa2 I can't believe that its taking so long the last time my case was touched was the begining of March I want to go and see my wife but I don't want to fly over stay a few weeks then leave her again come back here and then start saving again because I will travel there for her interview, which btw she will have to go to a whole other country for the interview because the embassy in Guinea does not process visa there . This whole process makes me wonder if the people at uscis is really human, do they have a family and. Do they know that they hold the lives of many families in their hands . Sorry for rambling but I am still wating for my NOA2 also.
