Its very sad how people gloat about things like this.

Dying in a car wreck isn't something to laugh at or applaud.

They got what they deserved packing a car that full is a danger to thos ein the vehicle and those in traffic around them, they disregard the lives of others as with every other law they disregard.

better them than some law abiding family.

Now maybe that will be 10 less illegals that our govt has to support that support can towards 10 LEGAL families.

Not sad to me at all, they got what they deserved putting others lives in danger while committing a FEDERAL CRIME.

Hell look at those reporters who entered into North Korea accidentally, they were immediatly arrested and now sentenced to 12 years.

I like the swift justice of that SUV wreck!

You really are incapable of offering a rational opinion aren't you?

Soon as you read "illegal" its like those people are sub human or something.

It has nothing to do with being opposed to illegal immigration and everything to do with your own prejudices.

What in the world is wrong with some of you people?! 10 HUMAN BEINGS lost their lives in an attempt to escape desperate circumstances to help their families survive, all due to the fact that they were randomly born into a life less fortunate than we were. How some of you have the gall to joke and blame them for their own misfortune is beyond me. They took their lives into their own hands and they knew that was the price they would have to pay to help their families survive so they would not have to go picking through someone else's garbage. There are grieving families who are receiving this news, and there are fellow countrymen on VJ who are hurting. Please take a moment to consider their feelings before you post.

If there are any more comments like this, the thread will be shut down and suspensions are likely.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Why should he? Its ever so much easier and more comfortable to sit on the anti-illegals bandwagon spewing hatred and prejudice. Forming a rational opinion on the subject is too hard.

What I think it interesting is that this passes for reasoning. They deserved to die because they were doing something illegal. I always find it fascinating to see who uses this fuzzy logic.

Yes, dehumanization and desensitization constitute the path to a more just and peaceful world.

What I think it interesting is that this passes for reasoning. They deserved to die because they were doing something illegal. I always find it fascinating to see who uses this fuzzy logic.

Apparently it's "justice"--although according to whose laws it's not clear.

Wrong ! They Chose to endanger lives around them WHILE COMMITTING AND ILLEGAL ACT

I have no respect for Criminals who knowingly & willingly break the law endanger the lives of others while doing so. I don't care where they are from Ireland, Sweden Mexico, wherever it is the fact they break federal laws while putting innocwent lives in danger, why shouldn't I be outraged at this?

has nothing to do with prejudice, it has to do with abiding by the laws of our nation.

When one of your parents almost gets killed in a car accidnet caused by one of these Illegal criminals then maybe you will see things differently.

I welcome immigrants from anywhere so long as they are legal and so long as they are not putting others lives in danger while commiting federal crime of entering our border illegally.

get it through your Thick ignorant head. it is about the following laws and safety of those who are legally here.

you are making the assumption that these were all just "good guys" just trying to make their families lives better. it would be interesting to run the fingerprints of the deceased (and other passengers in the truck) against the NICS database. could be that they were wanted felons or people who had already been deported for criminal offenses. lots of drug dealers travel across the border on rotation, and lots of them have been fingerprinted for arrests of various types that would make a standard entry application deniable.

if they were just "good guys", it would have been better for all if they applied for visas and entered legally. nobody would have died, if they had.

That's odd, because the only lives that seemed to have been in danger where those lives that got lost - what kind of circular reasoning is going on in your head?

Personal Responsibility

They chose actions which could put their life and future in danger.

I wasn't holding a gun to their head ( as for a I know). They gambled and lost. It happens every day.

May their souls rest in peace.

Well put. may their souls rest in peace and thank goodness no others were injured or killed.

Have you actually had someone close to you die in a road traffic accident? I have...

Granted it wasn't due to someone else's negligence - but I'm not sure I understand the argument that I should somehow feel justified in wishing death on people of a certain group just because someone completely different caused an accident. That *is* prejudice, Addie - its blatant. No two ways about it.

You're gloating about the death of 10 people who died in a car wreck and suggesting that because they were illegal immigrants that the death was deserved.

Thick ignorant head? Look in the mirror...
