I-134 Affidavit of Support question

The instructions for Form I-134, Affidavit of Support say to "submit in duplicate evidence of income ..."

So you really need 2 copies of your tax returns or tax transcritps submitted with the forms? Did anyone not provide 2 copies of your support and was it a problem?

I am going to the interview and have a huge pile of paper to bring - I'm trying to avoid any unnecessary items.

I only gave to the pre-screener 1 copy of each document they needed. But I did have backup copies in case they'll ask for more. I got 3 original notarized affidavit of support just to be safe. I have all the originals and xerox copies of supporting docs... if you give originals, you won't get it back so not unless they request for originals, don't volunteer. But of course the I-134 needs to be original copy.

Hi good day, I do had 1 copy of my I-134 but you should photocopy it for your own copy cause the embassy will get the original.
