If a rich man employs me, he isn't doing me a favor. I am providing his business with a service it needs and he is compensation me for it.

You're not doing him a favor either. Taxing the rich to solve societies financial problems is a losing proposition because the rich, more often than not, have resources to find loopholes and ways around restrictions. They can also vote with their feet, and there is always someone who is happy to give them what they want for a reciprocal benefit.

Trickle down economics has proven to be a false way to 'enrich all.' We are living with the consequences of this theory now, and it is a disaster.

The new plan is to bring everyone down to the lowest common denominator economic level. The old way was for everyone to have the same uplifting opportunity, now they want everyone to have the same mediocre results.
