Don't you guys have a barbeque or something to do to? Why are we all hanging around here??? :P

NOOOOOOO i'm bored, got fireworks on the lake later though

I'm procrastinating. Need to go dump the waste tanks on my camper/horse trailer... couldn't find the hose on Sunday. Yuck.

Well i would come help ya, but i think your too far from me :P sounds such fun too

Wouldn't turn down the help... last weekend was my first time hauling the trailer (bought it used before David left) and I'm still getting used to everything that needs to be done. I've never done this before, although it's been explained. Wouldn't be so bad if I didn't have to drive there, hook up, haul 25 mins to the nearest dump station, dump, haul back, and re-stage the trailer... all my myself. It's a beast. Oh well. I knoew what I was getting myself into... just not energetic enough to get moving....

hypocrite

one who puts on a mask and feigns himself to be what he is not; a dissembler in

religion. Our Lord severely rebuked the scribes and Pharisees for their

hypocrisy (Matt. 6:2, 5, 16). "The hypocrite's hope shall perish" (Job 8:13).

The Hebrew word here rendered "hypocrite" rather means the "godless" or

"profane," as it is rendered in Jer. 23:11, i.e., polluted with crimes.

I usually don't post much here in VJ unless it's something I feel strongly about, so here goes....

I know Sarah personally, we actually met here on VJ a year and a half ago and live 7 miles apart. I have not talked to her for a couple of weeks and have only read this thread today. It actually is the perfect example of what she was talking about in the first place. We have discussed VJ many times and laugh at some of dynamic that occurs here. I can assure you all she is not the "drama queen" you portray her to be. She is a very strong, independant woman who can take the ####### as well as give. It is true that there are some on here that use rudeness as their MO and post to make waves and then there are others who cannot take the least bit of criticism. I am one who enjoys reading the flame war and drama, but it does get out of hand at times and gets malicious. If some of you remember, I was the OP of the infamous "intimidated" thread that got deleted. For those of you who don't, some of us in chat one night decided to stage a huge flame war just to show how riduculous it really is and to make everyone laugh.

I don't spend as much time of VJ as Sarah, so I don't get as involved, but, I am very disappointed that some in this community chose to berate her for a decision and explanation. I know she has made alot of friends on here and I think she was just trying to give the community an explanation as to why she won't be here in the future and to give those people who she has developed a repore with a chance to keep in touch. She does have a point about the atmosphere around here lately, I have read some pretty offensive posts lately. Being a long time member myself, I have watched the dynamic change from time to time and hopefully people will lighten up once again. It IS sad to see long term members leave, especially those who post regularly. I miss alot of the members who used to be on here when I first came, but sh$t happens and things change.

Yes, this is the internet and a public forum where people are entitled to their opinion and to express it, but, I can assure that some of you were way off on this one.

OK, that's all I wanted to say. Flame on.

A great marriage is not when the "perfect couple" comes together.

It is when an imperfect couple learns to enjoy their differences.

I don't think Sarah is a drama queen. I think, though, as a long-standing member of the board, she's a little naive to think this wasn't going to end up like this.

approveme...I am not pointing fingers at anyone...if that is what you mean. If I remember....LisaD was one of those in chat that night. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, I just didn't like the way Sarah was getting raked over the coals in general. I know most of you have never met her, but I have and thought I should come to her defence. I also wonder what would be said if we all had to sit in a room together without the safety of the keyboard. Food for thought.

Well, I'm willing to bet we'd not all be invited to sit in the room.
