So for a little background... my fiance is from New Zealand and of course I am from the US. We met in Korea and both live there and are engaged. We are in the process of filing out the I-129F. We have called the USCIS help line and they werent much help. My question relates to how I fill in the address parts of the forms. On my forms do I use my US address throughout the petition even though I am not in the US right now? The woman on the help line just kept repeating you have to have an address that correspondence can be sent to to which I replied that I use my mom's address for all correspondence. I don't want to confuse the person who reads my application.

Any help from those individuals that are petitioning and they aren't living in the States would be much appreciated.

ALL they want is an address that correspondences can be delivered to, they don't care if it's USA. Korea, or New Zealand. USCIS will not be held responsibile if your correspondences are not delivered to you in a timely manner.

You make the decision, as to where you would like to receive any correspondence from USCIS to be delivered. SIMPLE as that.

Your mom is your mailing address. Somewhere in Korea is your current residence. If it asks for "residence address" answer Korea. If it asks for mailing address, give them your mom's address. Make sure to let her know to notify you of any mail from USCIS. If it asks for "permanent US address" give them your mom's address, or whatever you use for that.
