Calderon says he will, and I believe he will try his best. The U.S. had better prepare for a major surge if the court awards the election to AMLO and he is able to set up his social welfare state that will plunge Mexico into a depression the likes of which we have not seen for a while.

Yahoo news says Calderon is the clear winner now after the recount. They say Obrador is going to challenge it in court and may tell his people to take to the streets. What an idiot. Just take it like a man and admit defeat. Calderon is the better man for the job anyway.

Javier says the whole thing is corrupt and that Calderon would have won no matter what. Evidently, there is some ex-president who is basically in control of whoever becomes the next president and votes don't really matter. I'm not certain Calderon is the best man for the job-from what I've heard, he'll be the next Fox. I hope people do actually do something about it-I think the people are tired of the corruption in the government. This is what everyone has said they should do-fight to make their country better.

I think he is referring to the fact that from the outset, AMLO and his supporters have been whining about corruption so that in the case that he lost the election fair and square (which he did), he would be able to say "see! I told you it was rigged!" Fortunately this tactic, nor his bully tactics of whipping up massive protests, will change the outcome. No ex President had anything to do with it. AMLO said that Fox (being the incumbent President) wanted Calderon to win and so he rigged the election. Never mind that this was the most transparent election in Mexican history with more impartial election observers than you could shake a stick at. No experts in the international community think that there was anything corrupt about this election.
