Hey everyone, I just got in from work and am tired but I decided to wash clothes anyway and sleep in late tomorrow. Farid was up waiting for me and he said he missed me alot. He is such a great person. Anyway hope everyone has a great Sunday, I will work tomorrow afternoon as well.

Happy Sunday MENA.

I'm not usually up so early (9:05 a.m.) after staying up so late, but I woke and couldn't get back to sleep.

Talked with hubby last night. He wants to make the move to Kuwait but it won't be for at least a month or two (or maybe more), in which time we will continue to stay at the in-laws, with no a/c, no screens on the windows. During the hottest months of summer.

Honestly I was too depressed thinking about it and didn't say anything to him about it last night when we were chatting online, but I'm sure he knows I'm not happy about it. This was not even remotely in our plans when we were talking about my move here.

I am just hoping that we will have a/c by Ramadan, otherwise I can't imagine....

Nawal, your babies are too cute. All the MENA babies are. It's really nice that everyone shares the pictures and stories.

As many of the women mentioned, some of us had very long separations on this "journey" and I would venture to say that almost all of us have felt almost exactly like you are feeling now. The stress gets to be too much, things are strained, you feel like you can't take it anymore.

And yet, you get through it, day by day, because what else can you do?

My hubby and I were apart for about a year and a half after we got married, and if I hadn't recently made the move to Cairo, it would have probably been even longer until I saw him.

Hang in there, you will get through this, just like everyone, even though it's very painful at times.

JeanneVictoria, I miss your pictures, they were always cute. I'm sure everyone else misses them too.

For everyone in hot places (like me ) stay cool!! I was joking with my sister in law yesterday and saying we need to put a pool in on the balcony.

Hope everyone enjoys their Sunday. One more day to relax/rest/do whatever before that dratted Monday rolls around.

Anyone hear from Olivia? I keep forgetting to check FB for her status.

I'm not usually on or up this late, but I am. I am completely missing my hubby right night. Since being back from my long trip it feels so wierd being home. I guess it just dawned on me that if I hadn't canceled our K3 interview it would have been on Monday. I am completely hating myself, but I know that it was the best decision for us to make based on our situation. By the way NVC is moving, I don't know when we will get our next interview date. Hope its soon. Sorry I haven't been on in a while ladies, but I would love to know how everyone is doing.

Melly, you're too sweet babes! You are right...there are so many beautiful MENA babies!!! I am so thankful for my little monkeys!! They are just a ton of fun and make me smile each and every day!! Don't be sad or start worrying about your move (or the summer w/ Ramadan coming)...all things happen for a reason, just pray that God gives your hubby strength and the direction he needs and that all things are done in Gods will. You never know what exciting things God has in store for our future...so smile honey!! BTW---in a hot place (like Jeanne we are only about 2 hours away from each other)...living in the desert...my Egyptian hubby actually complains about the heat here...so you know its hell!

Casandra.....keep the faith girl...you made the right decision. Don't 2nd guess yourself honey. I hope you hear soon on the interview, isA. Stay positive!!

don't know why i'm up so early on the weekend.

yesterday, we took our pup to the park and as we were walking a little munchkin dog started barking at her and scared the ####### out of our "german shepherd mix" dog, the munchkin's dog owner had to pick her little tiny pup up and that's when my pup started acting like the aggressive dog, what a wimp my pup...lol she's been such a bundle of joy in our home, i'm so glad we rescued her from the shelter.

Yesterday, I received a phone call from somebody claiming to be "Capital One" telling me that i was overdue on a payment and that i could make a payment over the phone. Well, i do not have a balance with them and I asked this person if they could send me the bill and close the account and he hung up me. So just beware of these scammers. The phone number that came on my caller id was 866-381-0453.

Wow goodmorning everyone...

I look forward to reading all the posts....several times a day LOL.... really the being away from the SO is tormenting.... sometimes I find myself just driving around with no directions cos sitting home and thinking is exhausting..

I never felt that being so happy and safe and in Love would make a person feel so alone,,, did or does anyone feel the same way at times? Now with summer and more pl out you see couples hand and hand or just simply shopping , i am not a envious person but I want thisssssssss toooo. oh my goodness and I have 6 more months of this ...please grant me sanity Allah...

Got up early to watch the French Open - kind of a blow out.

Yes, the separation sucks and I didn't like to see other couples. A couple needs to handle it just like so many other bumps in a relationship.

Jackie - are you going to visit your man sometime soon? I just noticed your 6 mth countdown to his arrival - guess his job did get in the way.
