mga sis tnong lng do i need the GC ba b4 ako mka work d2? i just got my SSN and since madedeploy si hubby sa nov at wla pa nman kming baby gusto ko sana mg work sbi kc sa immigration it takes 3 to 6 sometimes 9 months dw b4 ko ma receive yung GC is this true? :(

03.15.2011 -------package says "Delivered"

03.30.2011 -------ASC Appointment Notice Received

04.22.2011 -------Biometrics Appointment

08.29.2011--------APPROVED! GC RECEIVED!

If you came here using CR1/IR1 so your GC should be on its way anytime...

If you don't have your green card yet..you still can work as long as you have the EAD or the work permit. Is your SSN card marked "NOT AUTHORIZED TO WORK"?.. iF not authroized then you can't work till you have the EAD.

Not really true that will take 6-9 months ..I received mine 2 months after i filed my AOS.

i got here in CR1 category i dont have that "NOT AUTHORIZED TO WORK" note in my SSN i guess i just need to wait for the GC to arrive before ako mg apply :huh:

wala nga kasing ead pag cr1 eh...sa k1 at k3 lang ang ead..

hintay mo na lang ang gc mo darating din yan..ang gc ko dumating less than a month lang since i got here...di yan totoo na aabutin ng ganun ka tagal since cr1 ka naman. tsaka kailangan din ang gc sa work evidence na authorized ka mag work.
