This might seem like a strange question to many of you, but I really don't know the answer to this. Or I might just make it more complicated that what it is.

I am going home for a long wanted visit to Sweden. I miss it SO MUCH! I'll be spending 3 1/2 weeks with my family and friends and I am going to enjoy every single minute of it. My questions:

- My passport has my maiden name on it, so my ticket is booked with that name. Do I need to bring my marriage certificate for re-entry to the US?

- Do I need to bring my I-94 for my departure?

- Is there anything else I haven't even thought of asking?

Thanks guys!

Lots of LOVE from ME!!

I would definitely bring the marriage certificate. I had the same issue last time I went "home" for a visit. U.S. immigrations was not a problem. The airline personnel in Stockholm on the other hand were a lot more suspicious and had to check and double check that it was ok with the marriage certificate to prove the name change before they let me on the plane.

If you can you should probably try to get a new passport during your visit. Don't know where you live but since the only places to get it done here is in LA, NY or DC (soon only DC if they close the other two consulates) it might be easier to get it done in Sweden.
