visa still at printing department.

8 days after my fiancee passed her interview, I called the USEM to check the status of her

visa and they said that it was forwaded to the printing department for visa printing on may 27.

(her interview was on may 19) and will take 5 to 10 days for printing plus 10 for delivery.

Is this true?because most people here got their visa within 7 days.anyone here experienced

longer wait of their visa?

I believe I have read stories of the visa taking up to a Month on occasion to be received ... it seems however 1-2 weeks is the majority.

Met: November 05, 2008

In your case, your fiancee probably went through some administrative review. The delivery of visa depends on how far the destination is. For Manila, it should take 3-5 days top and a little bit longer for provinces. When I had my interview 2 years ago, they printed my visa the next day after I got approved and then I received it 7 days after the interview.
