I have a pressing question. I had my babe mail me her signed 325 form from Thailand. She signed it and filled it out, but he messed up her timelines for living in Phuket. Can i correct them and notate them? I do not want to make her do it again and mail it to me again? Can someone please help me with this? I have the packet ready to mail

I do not speak from experience other than my packet is pending now. I do know that I would have her redo the paperwork, sign it and mail it back just to avoid any possible delays down the road. And from a USCIS stand point (in my opinion), what is the point of a signed form if it is just scratched off/erased and written over by someone else. But thats just my opinion. Good luck to you.

My wife was allowed to correct an error in her forms at the interview. She crossed it off, corrected it and initialed it. I had gotten TWO blank G-325a's from her during a visit and filled them out myself. It was MY mistake, but since her signature was on the form, she corrected it. USCIS never knew the difference but my wife was worried about it.

The USCIS is not likely to notice the mistake, unless someone there happens to know the correct timeline and says "Hey, that's not right!"

Better to attach a note, explaining the mistakle and that your BABE will correct it at her interview. It would look better than YOU making "corrections" to her form

NOTE: Suggestion to others...Get TWO original signature BLANK G-325a forms from your fiancee, fill them in. Also TWO original signed letters of intent. If something gets lost in the mail, or a mistake is made, you will have another form to work or send as a "duplicate original"

Yes, you may simply correct the dates (or anything else) on the form including using white-out. Use the tape form of white-out. It's perfectly acceptable. The form is only biographical.

It is true corrections are allowed, that was not my concern OK. My concern was his correcting it for his fiancee, but I will defer to you on this.

I hope that is correct, I have the entire packet done, with pictures, signed statements, etc. The one hangup is there is a block in the time when she was unemployed and she didnt put unemployed. She also got confused on the living date blocks. Having said that, she signed all four copies, as well as her intent to marry form. I really don't want to have to have her fill another one out, print it, copy it, mail it back to me in the states, me wait for it, and on and on...
