I will post a bigger post about it all later once we get back home (Friday), but I thought that I would just pop in to let you all know that we had a VERY easy ride in Sydney and our Visa was approved!!!! :)

We are EXTREMELY happy, grateful, and just down right stunned at this point that its finally all over.

And then we met Lorelle afterwards!!! Fun Stuff!! She has pictures!!!

Anyways, ta for now!!! Off for drinks in the sun!!

May 30, 2008: 10 year Greencard approved

OH OH!! and to top it off, I didnt need a cosponser!! I make just under the poverty line, but used my 401K to offset it and it went through with FLYING colors!! Twas cool indeed!! Ok, leaving now... Gotta go work on the tan...

Am glad you posted Mellie.....I was gonna have a hard time keeping my mouth shut and would of been kinda obvious giving 1zip6xe.gif response each time was asked hahahaha

Am just sorting the pics out and will post them here.

Mellie and Scott are awesome, so glad they chased me down the escalators :lol::thumbs:

I kinda got lost and the consierge desk put me on a bum steer so I thought I had missed them. Another guy and his friend said they had seen an american gal and her aussie hubby....but that was outside and looked like they'd gone. I was all forlorn thinking I had missed them until Mellie came running down the escalators with a big smile on her face and her arms out. The guy I had been chatting to earlier had spotted them again and told them I was there. huhhhhhhhhh Happy ending :D

April 2004- silly I know but knew he was my soulmate

5-6-05 Got to hold my baby in my arms for the first time

7-05 My divorce going thru, his was final in April

8-24-05 DIVORCE FINAL

8-27-05 mailed off K-1

8-29-05 I-129F lands in Nebraska

8-29-05 I-129F Comfirmed Received

9-1-05 CHECK CASHED

9 1-05 "touched"

9 3-05 NOA1 Snail Mail arrived

10 11-05 NOA2!!!!

10-12-05 WE GOT OUR NOA2!!!!!via email

10-17-05 NOA2 arrived snail mail

10-17-05 Our Petition on to NVC according to email

10-26-05 NVC received our case JUST this morning.. case # in hand

10-31-05 We have LEFT NVC & On way to SYDNEY!!!!

11-5-05 Sydney sent Packet 3 to Aussie

11-8-05 My baby recieved packet 3 at 6:51pm US Cental Time

11-8-05 US/11-9-05 Aussie, 2005 Police Clearance done

11-15-05 US/11-16-05 Aussie, 2005 Medical For Aussie and Kiddo

11-16-05 Packet 3 sent back to Sydney

11-21/11-22 2005 Email from Consulate saying we have an interview date....December 13, 2005

12-13-05INTERVIEW!!!

Interview December 13, 2005 WE PASSED!!!!!!!!

Jan. 31, 2006 Aussie and Son HOME!!

Feb 3, 2006 OUR WEDDING DAY!!!!!!

June 25, 2004 - Bruce & I met through mutual friends in my hometown in Newfoundland the night before he was going back to Maine

July 1 - First email between us

July 3 - I called him to wish him a Happy Independance Day

Daily phone calls and emails from there on in

October 20 - Bruce drove back to Newfoundland. He planned on staying a week but it ended up being 3 weeks. We knew for a fact we were in love!

March 19/05 - Bruce back in Newfoundland

April 8 - Bruce picked me up in North Sydney, NS and we drove to Maine. I stayed for a week due to work

July 26 - Bruce back to Newfoundland for another 3 weeks. I can't bear to see him leave.

August 10 - He asked me to marry him.........I had already asked him anyway just to make sure*_*

September 30 - I flew to Boston to meet Bruce there and then we drove back to Maine for 2 weeks

November 18 - We filed I-129F

December 1 - NOA Receipt #

December 28 - Received Packet 3

January 6/06 - Received my Police Certificate of Conduct

January 11 - Sent DS-230 Part 1 back to Montreal Consulate

February 3 - Sent off my check list to Montreal Consulate

March 24 - Medical

April 5 - Interview Date.....APPROVED......Yahoo

April 17 - Moving to Maine

May 16 - Bruce & I became Mr. & Mrs. in Las Vegas (Oh HAPPY DAY)
