Hi VJers,

Just wanna tell you guys that i am finally here at Cleveland, arrived yesterday night. 24.30 hrs flight, tiring but everything went well except at Newark Immigration. It was a Filipina who interviewed me first then I was escorted to the immigration officer. i was asked to just wait for my name to be called for the final interview but i almost cried because it was more than an hour already and still my name was not called, I decided to approach the officer and then he told me that my packet went to the wrong place, he then processed it. Told me to get married within 90 days and welcomed me. I am just thankful that I had 4 hours layover at Newark Airport. Except for this incident, everything went well, the airport officers were all friendly and helpful to me.

Long flight, tiring, had a little problem at the immigration but...it's all worth it, especially when i saw my Mikee waiting for me. Just realized how much i love him.

PS

I was surprised that the luggage carts at Newark is not for me free.....hehehe.

I'm the hope that lives within him after storm clouded days.

The freedom from war that gives wings to his heart,

May they reach across the miles and bind our hearts together

against all that we must face in this world.

Welcome to America!! Sorry to hear you had to wait, I am sure that hour felt like an eternity. Its the not knowing what they are doing during that time, that makes the wait even seem longer.

Good luck to yall,

Thank you all for welcoming me.

Yes Wyatt, it felt like an eternity, i started to feel that something was wrong with my packet (was kinda worried that the cd inside was damaged and they couldn't read my x-ray). To all those who will be traveling here soon, don't hesitate to approach the immigration officers if you feel like its taking them so long to call your name. They're all friendly, and I met 3 Filipinos actually working at the Newark aiport, they talked to me in Tagalog and they have helped me somehow.

Welcome! Enjoy!
